The currency of the War of Independence.
Historically begins with the installation of the Patriotic Junta, in the glorious morning of April 19, 1810, when the honorable Board begins to rule the destinies of the First Republic, by solemnly proclaiming independence.
Proclaimed the Independence of Venezuela in 1811, began operating in Venezuelan territory several provincial mints, some of the realistic side, anti Independence, like Maracaibo and Guayana.
