The 900 gold coin features the image of an Indian male wearing a feathered headband. Around the top of the coin is stamped Caciques de Venezuela, and along the bottom is stamped Sorocama. The reverse side of the coin bears the image of crossed clusters of pointed spears. The words Caciques de Venezuela is repeated down the center of the coin face, and along the bottom half is stamped SIGLO XVI, Acunada en Caracas. This piece is stamped 900 for gold purity composition and bears a trademark stamp. This coin is composed of 900 gold, and has a diameter of 17.9mm and a weight of 3 grams.
